Never Stop Learning: Boost Your Creativity with Camp Learning Opportunities

Learning quote

We’re a little late starting the blog back up after returning from the holiday break because we’ve been practicing what we’re about to preach. We hit the ground running in
2015–just as you did–but we took some rare time to arm ourselves with new ideas and better processes to boost your creativity and strategy this year.

There are lots of ways to learn, but
getting away to camp conferences, workshops and seminars can be very beneficial to camp directors and their staff, as can taking time to consume podcasts, webinars or other content from leaders in your space. Many people feel that the top benefit of conference attendance is the networking opportunity with others in the industry contacts–which is true–but there’s also:

  • Training and insight into challenges your organizations may be having
  • Discovering new tools and technologies
  • Meeting new vendors
  • Doing all of this away from the distractions of your daily tasks

The question is: where will you get your camp mentoring and inspiration from this year?

Start with ACA National Conference

ACA’s national conference, held this year on February 3-6 in New Orleans, is the largest collection of industry experts, vendors and attendees. We’ll be there, too, so come see us. We’ll tell you more specifics next week, but you’re definitely not going to want to miss these 2 treats:

  • Meet the head of the Launch Consultant Team, Will Bowman, and learn more about what your Launch Consultant can do for you.
  • Hear camp mom Camarin Wanamaker share how to reach your fastest growing target audience: the Mobile Millennial Mom.

If you’re already going to ACA National Conference, we look forward to seeing you. You might want to prepare now to make the most of it by reading this article: How to Maximize the Benefits of Attending Workshops, Seminars and Conferences.

Can’t Justify the Time and Expense of a Camp Conference?

This is exciting! We’ll be bringing you live webinars every 6 weeks throughout the year, and providing the recordings afterwards. Mark your calendar for our first one on February 10: 4 Things You Need to Do Now to Turn Web Visitors into Participants. Watch for registration information.

SAVE THE DATE: Our second webinar will be held on March 25.Topic to be announced.

We’re looking forward to a phenomenal 2015 with our awesome camp cohorts: YOU!
